The Western Sizzlin' at 2000 W. University Dr. was sold to Mei Hua Lu, who made the change as soon as the ink dried on the closing papers, Tommy Keeton of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. Lu's purchase consisted of a 6,500-sf freestanding building positioned on one acre. Keeton say the property was on the market for about six months at $600,000 before it went under contract. Keeton handled talks for buyer and seller.

Almost three acres along Garland Road sold for $7.50 per sf to David Raoufput, who apparently intends to continue using the site as a used car lot while holding onto it for investment purposes, says Peter Kosley, senior vice president of Henry S. Miller. He represented the buyer, who took title for 12063 Garland Rd. from L.T. Grubbs Motors. Raoufput moved on the acquisition after the property sat on the market for a brief three months, according to Kosley.
