Burnand, one of two Insignia directors in the group, has 23 years' experience. He hails from C&W's financial services group. In his career, he also worked for Grubb & Ellis Co. and United Properties. Key to the hire is his long-standing relationships with such major players as RREEF, Lend Lease, Aetnea, UBS Brinson Realty Investors and John Hancock Insurance Co.
Burnand's new duties entail advising clients about the full gamut of asset strategies. Insignia's capital advisors group consists of a senior managing director, seven managing directors and two directors.
