Mandolin I presently totals 308 units on 19 acres at 2525 Highway 360 in the Bear Creek area of Euless. The expansion, going up 9.6 acres, gets under way this quarter. United Dominion Realty did not return telephone calls by press time to provide additional details about the project.
The Meridian expansion will encompass 15.6 acres at 3620 Huffines Blvd. Delivery is set for the second quarter. The existing 250-unit complex sits on 16.2 acres.
Both projects' first phases were developed in late 2000 in a joint venture with Credit Suisse First Boston and delivered last year. In recent months, United Dominion took over full ownership of the properties. In late November 2000, United Dominion sources pegged the second-phase expansions at $17.3 million for the Mandolin and $13 million for the Meridian.
