Cheatham, who joined the firm in 1985, also came in second in the Top 15 retail producers for the Western region. His co-head of the Retail Velocity Group, Darren Pitts, placed 11th while their team overall came in second nationwide for its deal volume in the annual competition. The Phoenix Velocity Retail Group also consists of Bonnie Arlia, Pat Sauer, Suzie Telleysh and Gia Heller.
CBRE in Phoenix also has opened the door to John Glassmoyer, who has relocated from the firm's Newport Beach office. The seasoned veteran with 23 years' experience is on board as a specialist in the sales of single-tenant, net-leased investment purchases. He joined CBRE in 1978 as an industrial leasing and sales specialist, left in 1986 and returned in 1993 as an investment properties specialist. Since 1993, he was involved in sales totaling more than $500 million of office, industrial and retail deals. His track record for the past two years accounted for more than $200 million in sales of single-tenant, net-leased holdings.
