The building, says Apollo, represents the largest block of contiguous space in the Camelback Corridor. In late November 2001, Apollo, the manager partner of Camelback Plaza LLC, assumed day-to-day operations of the premier structure. The Insignia award represented one of Apollo's first moves in its new role. Insignia's senior managing director Michael White is charged with leading the leasing team.
"The Camelback Center building is an important asset within Apollo's portfolio," says Richard Ackerman, an Apollo partner. The game plan is to get aggressive in closing transactions in a submarket with one of the highest office vacancies in the Valley.
