Shari Tucker, senior associate for Sperry Van Ness Mullin in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com that the buyer used a 1031 exchange to acquire the Annex at Pima Crossing. The Roy and Juliette Kesner Trust is the buyer of the holding from Aina Holdings LLC of Phoenix, a well-known merchant retail builder corporation led by W. Reid.
Tucker and Jeff Chalfin, a Sperry Van Ness Mullin associate, represented the seller. Don Heinonen of Heinonen Associates LLC of Scottsdale brokered the deal for the buyer.
The building, situated on a pad site, takes up the northwest corner of Loop 101 and Shea Boulevard. Tucker says it commanded such a high price because of its Scottsdale address and Pima Crossing connection.
