EWM has 10 of the units already under contract, one at $2 million. Prices range from $400,000 to $3 million. The condos are being sold to satisfy debts accrued by Brazilian developer Mucio Atheyde whose New Florida Properties Corp. built the property. New Florida filed for Chapter 11 protection from creditors on Jan. 4 of this year.
The court also approved a 6% broker's commission on the individual condo sales. Fortune Realty previously had the exclusive sales contract at Blue and Green Diamond.
