Court Reporting Firm Buys 9,000-SF Office Building

Royal Reporting is relocating from 3720 Branard, near Edloe, Richmond and US Highway 59 in near southwest Houston. Marc Drumwright and Chris Hotze, both of Houston-based Southwest Realty Advisors, represented the seller, Uretek USA Inc. in the transaction. Brian Cogburn and Nancy Rust of 21st Century Co./Rust Properties brokered the deal on the buyer's behalf.

Drumwright tells GlobeSt.com that the building, near Blalock and between Interstate 10 and Hempstead Highway, was on the market for about four months before the sale. He says that Uretek left the building for a new facility along Texas 249 near Compaq.

Uretek, freeway foundation repair company. was the developer of the six-year-old office building. Drumwright wouldn't talk selling price, but did say it was marketed for $695,000.
