Dual Build-to-Suits Breaking Ground in 30 Days

Panattoni's Al Sorrels tells GlobeSt.com that Taylor Farms is masterminding the project that will deliver a 52,000-sf building for its use and a 58,000-sf one for its vendor, Hardie's Fruits and Vegetables. Ground will break in 30 days, with delivery ticketed for late summer.

Sorrels says Taylor Farms is undecided at this point if it will sell or lease the site to its vendor. The key is for the duo to stay close together. "There's a lot of synergy being on the same site," he says of the grocery store suppliers.

The Dennis Group of Springfield, MA is the architect for the project that will go up on the northwest corner of Davis Street and Cockrell Hill Road. The designs contain freezer facilities and distribution space. Sorrels would not disclose the project cost.
