Tony Patronella of Southwest Realty Advisors in Houston tells GlobeSt.com that the one- acre Milwee Street parcel was purchased by Russell Coleman of Sparkle Car Wash. Coleman intends to expand his car wash business, which is located on an adjacent 12-acre tract. Patronella represented both parties in the land transaction. Sparkle Car Wash also owns operations at 13877 Bissonnet in Bellaire and 9511 Richmond in the Westchase submarket.
Papp then turned around and bought 1.2 acres along 43rd street between Texas 290 and Old Hempstead Highway in northwest Houston. Papp bought the acreage from the Lutheran Foundation. Patronella says that Papp owns a window company and plans to build a manufacturing and retail facility on the tract. Patronella represented they buyer and Tom Condon of Ray Betz Commercial Realty in Houston brokered talks for the foundation.
