Company officials say they believe the Forest Lake area -- an outer ring suburb north of the Twin Cities -- was ripe for a larger value-priced grocery store.
Cub, a grocery store chain with 40 stores in the Twin Cities and 103 nationwide is owned by Super Valu, is a large food retailer and wholesaler based in Eden Prairie, MN.
