Thunderbird Crossing shopping center is approximately 240,000 sf. The center's first phase includes a 140,000-sf Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse. The Food4Less store is part of the second-phase rollout, scheduled to open in first quarter 2003.
Dave Newquist, Ron Ault, Dave Cheatham and Darren Pitts, all of the Phoenix office of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Velocity Retail Team, represented the Los Gatos, CA-based building owner, K & Y Thunderbird & 83rd. Phoenix Commercial Advisors brokered the deal for Fleming.
In addition to Arizona, the Food4Less grocery chain operates stores in California, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Utah and Wisconsin. The four Arizona locations are in Phoenix, Glendale, Chandler and Tempe.
