The added office accommodations, says a source at Dallas-based Bradford Cos., is linked to its multi-million-dollar joint strike fighter contact secured in fall 2001. The signing takes the office-flex building at 400 Esters Blvd. to 50% occupancy. It is one of four structures, totaling 256,235 sf, that Bradford handles in the Freeport section of Irving for Kansas investor, Petroleum Inc.

Bradford's Ken Wesson, senior vice president, and Greg Nelson, marketing director, represented the building owner. Rick Hughes of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.'s Dallas office handled talks for Lockheed Martin.

Also in Irving, Friendly Robotics Inc. has signed for 2,539 sf at Skyview Centre, an office building positioned at 8336 Sterling Dr. Brett Owens of Dallas' Henry S. Miller Commercial brokered the tenant's side of the deal. Mark Tharp of Harkinson Investment Corp. represented the building owner, Skyview Centre JV.
