Hilton Garden Inn hotels are geared for value-conscious business and vacation travelers who want the convenience and feel of home, says Adrian Kurre, senior vice president of brand management. That's why the hotels have a lounge and business center, as well as microwave ovens and refrigerators in the rooms.

A mid-rise, four-story structure, the Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park features a glass-walled pavilion, a pantry with a variety of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items and sundries; the Great American Grill restaurant, offering freshly prepared breakfast and lunch. There are also four meeting rooms with 2,500 sf of flexible meeting space.

Business-oriented features of the rooms include a work desk with a pull-out shelf for a portable computer, high-speed Internet access, adjustable lighting, an ergonomic chair, and two telephones with two lines, data ports and voicemail.

A cornerstone of Hiltons growth strategy, there are more than 125 Hilton Garden Inn hotels across North America and about 100 more under development.

The Hilton Garden Inn Overland Park is at 5800 College Blvd. The hotel is about ahalf mile from Interstate 435 at the intersection of College Blvd. and Nall, 35 miles from Kansas City International Airport. Nearby corporations and business centers include Sprint World Headquarters, Johnson CCC/CEC and the Corporate Woods Business Park.
