Tangalakis has closed 500 lease transactions in his two decades with CBRE. Among his recent deals were sales of the 419,236-sf Principal Life Insurance Co. building for $36 million and the $8 million sale of the 102-acre Corporate Park of Coral Springs, FL for WCI Communities Inc.
His recent leasing transactions were a 267,000-sf office/flex building to Sara Lee Corp. with total rent value of $19 million; a 232,000-sf manufacturing facility in Weston Business Center leased to Andrix Corp. for $12 million; and a 225,000-sf office/flex structure leased to American Express for $13 million.
Paco Diaz Sr., vice president/retail, was recognized for closing on 300 leases in his 14 years with CBRE.
Dave Donnellan, first vice president, has participated in $320 million worth of retail transactions in the past 10 years.
Denny St. Romain, associate, investment properties, Florida multi-housing group, has received CBRE's Bill McAdam Cup for consistently high earnings during his former commission-only status. St. Romain has participated in $400 million worth of deals comprising 4,000 apartment units since joining the company in March 2000.
