DPR already has booked $20 million worth of work on projects totaling 200,000 sf in metro Atlanta. Among the jobs are a 100,000-sf tenant improvement project in the Millennium Building for PricewaterhouseCoopers; a renovation job for Mercury Air at the Peachtree Dekalb Airport; and two projects for Kaiser Permanente.

Bartkowski attributes DPR's fast start in Atlanta to the team of Georgians who have strong ties to the Southeast and their extensive construction background. "The Southeast is a relationship-driven market and DPR is a relationship-driven company," Bartkowski says in a DPR-prepared statement.

The company's Atlanta team is headed by regional manager Scott Reay, an eight-year professional at DPR; and includes Todd Armistead, Alan Beckley, John Cheek, Betty Dingess, Christy Pinson, Jack Poindexter and Mark Qualman. The team has a combined 50 years of construction industry experience.
