Westgate Fabrics Inc. will relocate from 1000 Fountain Parkway in Grand Prairie's section of the Great Southwest Industrial Park to Arlington's, heading into 65,385 sf at 905 Avenue T. The wholesaler will move in Aug. 1, a Dunn Commercial contact tells GlobeSt.com. David R. Dunn, president of the Arlington brokerage firm, brokered the long-term lease for the tenant, and Shane Clark of Dallas-based Bradford Cos. brokered the deal for the building owner, Metropolitan Life Insurance Co.
In Fort Worth, National Distribution Centers renewed a 131,600-sf lease, marking its second renewal for 1125 Joel East Rd. The long-term pact comes within months of a short-term lease for 300,000 sf in the Westport section of AllianceTexas, Jean Russo of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. She soloed on the renewal negotiations for tenant and building owner, the Utah State Teachers Retirement Fund. National Distribution Centers provides warehouse and distribution services for corporate customers in the Fort Worth area.
