About 35,000 sf of office space and 106,000 sf of warehouse space remains at the building, Terry O'Hara of Grubb & Ellis, who represented CenterPoint in the Arrow Financial Services lease deal, tells GlobeSt.com.
"There were unique features to this space, because this was once used as a call center," Cushman & Wakefield's Peter Block tells GlobeSt.com. He represented the tenant with J. Frank Franzese and John McIlwain. "It was a very aggressive deal for both parties," Block adds.
Block says the seven-year deal took about five months to complete. O'Hara also considers location to have been a factor for the Lincolnwood-based company, which will move into its new space in June. Arrow Financial Services has about 15,000 sf at its current location.
The space is on the second floor, where W.W. Grainger once had 80,000 sf.
