The Plantation, FL-based general contractor plans to break ground Oct. 1 on 25,641 sf of new construction; 12,400 sf of renovations; and 11,700 sf of remodelings at the site, 190 miles northwest of Downtown Miami. Completion is scheduled for Oct. 1, 2003.
The contract calls for Centex Rooney to incorporate all District standard systems, including technology/data, security, ITV, telephone, intercom, electrical and HVAC. Centex Rooney is a subsidiary of Dallas-based Centex Construction Group, a division of Centex Corp.
