The new campus, scheduled to open in first quarter 2003, will be located at the northwest corner of Baseline Road and Interstate 10 within the Phoenix limits. Central location, easy access and good interstate visibility were the deciding factors. The campus will replace ITT's existing location at 48th Street and McDowell Road.
Kit Tiedemann, Chuck Nixon and Mike Ragland, all of CB Richard Ellis' Phoenix office, represented the building owner, Panattoni Development Co. of Irvine, CA, and tenant, ITT Technical Institute of Phoenix.
The institution's parent, ITT Educational Services Inc., is headquartered in Indianapolis. It is a leading private college system with a hard focus on technology-oriented curricula. There are 70 ITT Technical Institutes operating in 28 states and boasts an enrollment of more than 31,000 students. The Phoenix campus opened its doors in 1985.
