According to Koch, StanCorp finances a range of commercial property types, including franchise restaurants, industrial buildings with short-term leases, self-storage facilities, unanchored retail buildings, freestanding single-tenant retail buildings and other smaller income properties looking for fixed-rate, long-term financing in the range of $500,000 to $3 million. StanCorp generally competes for borrowers seeking loans with terms of 7, 10, 15 or 20 years and amortization periods of 15 to 25 years.
