Maplewood Cabinetry Inc. has just completed its move into 6,772 sf at the Aztec Commerceplex, a 203,000-sf, multi-tenant building at 21241 N. 23rd Ave. The cabinet maker has relocated from within the same market, grabbing extra space with the move. Marc Hertzberg of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s industrial team in Phoenix, tells GlobeSt.com. He negotiated the deal for building owner, EJM Development Co. of Phoenix while Bob Deininger of Johnson & Associates of Scottsdale talked on the tenant's behalf. The lease is valued at $140,000 for the three-year term.
In an 8,026-sf lease, Taylor Tours took over a general industrial space at 19th & Pinnacle Peak Commerceplex, a new structure that reached the halfway mark in leasing with the new deal, Hertzberg says. He and Grubb & Ellis' Tom Atkinson represented Taylor Tours, which is using the site to retrofit custom tour buses. Jeff Conrad and Matt Hobaica, both of Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona, brokered the deal, valued at $165,000, for developer and building owner, EJM Development. The new tenant also relocated to 23910 N. 19th Ave. from within the immediate area.
