Crescent has copped a national commercial real estate customer service award for excellence at office properties. The honor is based on tenants' survey responses. BOMA and CEL & Associates oversee the competition, which has put Crescent into the Top nationally. Crescent's portfolio encompasses 74 office buildings, representing 28 million sf in six states.
Billingsley has won a best garden community in a primary market in the 2002 Pillars of the Industry awards for its mixed-use Austin Ranch project. The community, judges said, blended relaxed open interiors with clean, edgy exteriors for a feeling of New Urbanism. The developer was particularly praised for making hundred-year-old oaks part of the design.
"The traditional neighborhood feeling was accomplished while responding to the varied topography of the site and taking full advantage of an existing lake as a focal point," explained Lucilo Pena, president of the development company.
