The class A communities, developed by the Sterling Cos. of Dallas, are the 208-unit Parkview Legends in McKinney and the 224-unit Legends on the Lake in Rockwall. The McKinney complex at 1701 Park Central is 92% occupied. Sara S. Baker, Henry S. Miller executive vice president, tells GlobeSt.com that the focus naturally will be to boost occupancy via competitive offerings with the newer product in the neighborhood.

Legends on the Lake at 923 Yellow Jacket is 97% occupied. Baker says the marketing strategy will pretty much stay the same. The sweet part of the deal puts one of the newest and last multifamily developments brought to market in Rockwall under Henry S. Miller management. The suburban North Texas city imposed a building moratorium practically in sync with the project's delivery, according to Baker.

Both complexes will be getting Web sites and on-line registration capabilities in keeping with the multifamily management team's practice. Baker says the assignments came to market when the Texas-based owner made internal shifts.
