Several such projects are in the works, and one of the first to come to fruition is Gaslight Commons, located at NJ Transit's Sloan Street Railroad Station here. The 200-unit luxury complex, situated on 4.7 acres, is making its first rental units available this week. The developer of the complex is New York City-based LCOR Inc. Development cost was not disclosed.

The complex totals some 310,000 sf in two, four-story buildings, according to LCOR vice president Anthony Marchetta. "The two buildings have interior courtyards," he adds. Located at 28 Third St., the property will continue to be managed by LCOR.

Gaslight Commons has a number of amenities, including balconies, a swimming pool, fitness center, concierge service and indoor/outdoor parking. Unit sizes range from 676 to 1,282 sf.
