The project is going up on the southeast corner of Interstate 30 and the Great Southwest Parkway. The new center already is home to a Super Wal-Mart. In fall 2002, a Sam's Club, PetsMart and Office Depot will roll out as part of the second phase. The recent retail signings are for 30,000 sf of shop space while talks are under way with a restaurateur for 4,300 sf and a local bank for one of two pad sites.
Vice president Kevin McIntosh and associate Jason Cooper, both of Fort Worth-based Woodmont Co., represent the property owner. The recent deals have lined up a 2,500-sf spot for AT&T, which is working toward a July opening; 7,000-sf store for Dollar Tree; and 5,000-sf location for Shoe Show. Kelly Hampton of CB Richard Ellis' Dallas office represented AT&T at the bargaining table; Woodmont associate Jennifer Frank spoke for Dollar Tree; and Jeff Brand of United Commercial Realty/ChainLinks handled talks for Shoe Show.
