Alcon has inked a seven-year lease for a 385,000-sf warehouse, where crews are now hard at work on finish-out for the incoming tenant at 5445 Will Rogers Blvd. Alcon Labs, headquartered in Fort Worth, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of ophthalmic pharmaceutical, ophthalmic surgical, vision care and optic products.
The seven-year pact takes the six-month-old building to 50% occupancy, Chuck Geserick, Madison Warehouse's general manager, tells GlobeSt.com. And, another deal is just around the corner. Geserick handled the building owner's side of the talks while John Aldrich, president of the Dallas office for Colliers International, brokered the deal for Alcon.
The St. Louis-based Madison Warehouse owns a trio of buildings, totaling 970,000 sf, that have been developed over the past three years at the crossroads of Loop 820 and Interstate 35W. The park is the firm's sole holding in Fort Worth, but it also has like assets in Baltimore and Decatur, IL as well as its homeport.
