The auction is the result of a partnership dissolution. Once on the market for $9 million, the minimum bid for the property is $3.675 million. The property, located on US 31 south of this city, is being sold without reserve.

The auction package includes The Inn at Manistee National, which was built in 1997 and includes two large meeting rooms; the Canthooke Valley and Cutters' Ridge golf courses; as well as 12 residential home sites.

Michigan is a "golfers Eden," brokers involved say, noting the popularity of the sport in the state as well as the number of courses.

"We see potential bidders for these properties as being golf-oriented all the way," Kravets says in a statement. "The Inn at Manistee National is the only place in the area where an avid golfer can stay overnight on a golf course and be able to play at two great courses on the same day."
