The complex, which is rising on a 51-acre site in Fontana, will encompass 1.1-million sf at build-out. Known as the Jurupa Business Park, it will consist of an 827,560-sf distribution building complemented by a 250,430-sf facility. The buildings will stand at 13204 and 13502 Jurupa Ave.
Designed by HPA Inc. of Newport Beach, the complex will boast Early Suppression Fast Response sprinklers and an "abundance of dock positions," according to a company spokesperson. The facilities will feature a 32-ft clearance height in the larger building and a 30-ft clearance height in the smaller one.
"Buildings of this size are demanded by logistics companies trying to achieve cost efficiencies through consolidation into larger and larger distribution centers," says Les Brown of Rados Development. "The Inland Empire is the key center for logistics companies serving the Western United States."
