RentaCrate Inc. has signed a three-year lease for its first Texas location at 8911 Governors Row in the South Stemmons submarket, Eric Gilbert of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Dallas office tells GlobeSt.com. The firm also is scouting Houston for a site. Gilbert represented the tenant at the bargaining table while David Easterling of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Dallas team handled talks for the building owner, Mary Lee Gray.
Gilbert also closed a three-year deal for FundTech Corp., which has just taken the keys to 3.,076 sf at 1420 Valwood Parkway in Carrollton. Craig Hughes of the Holt Co. was the in-house representative for the building owner. The Valwood Industrial park site is categorized as research and development and flex space.
Also in Carrollton, Outsource Solutions has taken 3,094 sf of office space at Trinity Square Tech Center, a Whitehall Real Estate Inc.-owned structure at 2833 Trinity Square Drive. Brett Owens of Henry S. Miller Commercial in Dallas brokered the deal on the tenant's behalf while Roy Greenberg spoke for Whitehall Real Estate.
In the Dallas CBD, VNU Inc. has added 5,032 sf to its 3,969-sf office at Bank One Center at 1717 Main St. The Cushman & Wakefield team of Bob Edge, Matt Heidelbaugh and Mark Boynton negotiated the transaction for the tenant, a major international media and information company. Don Dowell of Main Street Partners represented the building owner, TrizecHahn.
