Burk most recently has been executive vice president in charge of construction and property management while Oklak moves up from chief administrative officer. They have a combined 38 years with the US' largest office and industrial REIT between them.

"Personally, I have spent the last several years as chief executive officer very much involved in the day-to-day operations of the business. Thischange will allow me to focus more directly on my CEO responsibilities and allow Gary and Denny to focus on further enhancing the Duke delivery system."
