The tenant was represented in the transaction by Jeffrey Babikian, senior managing director of Insignia/ESG of New Jersey's Saddle Brook, NJ office. Daiichi, which is primarily involved in antibacterial agents and entered the US market four years ago, "is currently undergoing a considerable expansion in this country," according to Babikian.

One Maynard Dr. is a 140,000-sf class A office building located near the Garden State Parkway. "The property's access to its current headquarters facility led to its final decision," according to Babikian.
