Bechtel Equipment Operations is a subsidiary of the San Francisco-based engineering and construction company, Bechtel Corp. The parent firm leases a 420,000-sf office building in Houston's Galleria and another 4,800 sf of office space in the city's northwest submarket.
Bechtel is leasing the Deer Park facility from property owner, Gagest LLC. James E. Foreman, Sandra F. Harris and Beau Kaleel, all of the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc., handled both sides of the lease negotiations.
In an unrelated transaction, Sunburst Trucklines Inc. has signed for five acres at 5101 Oates Rd., also a Houston address. B. Kelley Park III and John F. Littman, both with C&W's Houston office, bargained the lease for building owners, Peter and Marjorie Richter.
