SBWE's Joseph Santoro and Patricia Tarczilo represented both the buyer and the seller in the latest exchange. The firm also represented both sides in 1995 when Anton USA, an export/import firm, acquired the facility from Toppan Graphics.

The new owner plans to renovate the building's 25,000 sf of offices extensively, according to Santoro. During the first quarter of 2003, when the renovations are complete and the space has been brought up to the latest technological, standards, the company will move into its approximately 19,000-sf warehouse/office space and lease out the remaining office portion. SBWE will also handle the leasing of the excess space.

In a separate matter, SBWE has been named exclusive sales agent for a 27,800-sf industrial building currently under construction at 120 Melrich Rd. in South Brunswick, NJ. The asking price for the building and its 5.3-acre site is $1.4 million, according to SBWE executive vice president Paul D. Cohen. The facility is available either as is, or can be completed as a build-to-suit by the original contractor, REDCO Engineering and Construction Corp. of Westfield, NJ.
