Phoenix-based Stichler Design Group and Scottsdale-based general contractor, Linthicum Constructors Inc., are teaming for the hospital project. The plan calls for interior changes, adding windows and 1,000 sf "to create a more efficient design" and incorporate more seating arrangements.
The project comes with a fast-track construction schedule so that the ribbon can be cut in mid-October. The dining facility will remain operational during construction.
Linthicum's health-care portfolio includes a $2.1-million upgrade now going on at Desert Vista Medical Center in Mesa and projects at the Page Hospital in Page, AZ. Linthicum also completed expansion jobs for the sixth and seventh floors at Valley Lutheran Hospital. Its portfolio includes projects at Valley Lutheran Women's and Lutheran Heart hospitals.
