The provider of fiber optic and copper cable assemblies will move in May 1, Jason Miller of Irving-based Property Advisers Realty tells GlobeSt.com. He and Property Advisers' owner, Jerry Reis, brokered the deal for the building owner, Madison Venture. The tenant handled its side of the talks for the spot at 14850 Venture Dr.
Optical Cabling is relocating from a smaller location along Country Club Road, also in Farmers Branch. The firm, founded in 1994, employs about 70.
Wal-Mart inked a short-term lease for 18,939 sf of temporary storage space. Miller and a Wal-Mart real estate representative negotiated the pact for 14814 Venture Dr.
In nearby Carrollton, EFT Data Link Inc. will be moving into 5,838 sf in a deal for 2015 Midway Rd. Loren Hillyer, senior director of Alliance Commercial Group in Dallas, represented the tenant while Helen Hudson of Dallas-based TIG Real Estate Services bargained for the building owner, Dallas Industrial Portfolio LP.
