Another law firm that occupies space in the building, Donovan Hatem LLP, expanded its lease by 5,813-sf, bringing the total occupancy of the 505,000-sf tower to 83%. World Trade Center East is the first of two new high-rise office buildings completed at the World Trade Center complex. World Trade Center West, a 17-story, 573,000-sf office building, is nearing its completion and is 68% pre-leased. Both projects are joint developments of Pembroke Real Estate, a Fidelity Investments company, and The Drew Company.

Peter Madsen, managing director of Pembroke Real Estate notes that these lease expansions are a testament to the "recognition of the Seaport District as a viable alternative to downtown Boston."

Other law firms that have leased space in these two towers include Cetrulo & Capone, LLC, Foley, Hoag LLP and Nutter, McClennen & Fish, LLP. Companies, such as Cabot Corporation and AEW Capital Management have also relocated to the World Trade Center complex.
