Previously president of the office and industrial REIT, Horn leaves for a similar post at Brenwick Development Corp., an Indianapolis-based residential land development firm. Denny Oklak and Gary Burk will fill Horn's shoes less than a month after being named co-chief operating officers.
"Rich has been an outstanding Duke associate since the day he graduated from law school 18 years ago," says Duke Realty chairman and chief executive officer Tom Hefner in a statement. "We know Rich will play an important role in the future growth of Brenwick."
Hefner adds, "the founders of Brenwick are longtime friends of Duke."
