"We feel extremely good about it in a market that has very little demand," Scott M. Jessen of the Morse Co. in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. He and Scott A. Morse, principal, still have 64,000 sf of Telecom Corridor sublease space belonging to Chorum Technologies to hawk.
Anthony LeVecchio of the James Group brokered the deal for the subtenant, which took the balance of Chorum's direct lease. Photodigm was founded in early 2000 to commercialize recent advances in optical grating and semiconductor laser technology.
Chorum "right sized" its operations into a two-building, 112,000-sf campus along Arapaho. The firm was housing its research and development teams in the now-vacant locations.
Morse and Jessen also brokered a 7,208-sf renewal for Entravision Communications Corp. for its Mockingbird Station location at 5307 North Central Expressway. Judy Davis of Corner Real Estate Services represented the limited partnership building owner. The long-term deal comes with an expansion option for adjacent space.
Entravision is a five-year tenant at Mockingbird Station. The tenant is a diversified Spanish-language media company.
