The pair will continue to work on the 3.5 million-square-foot portfolio of Daws' former company, EllisDaws Properties Inc. Its major developments are Crossroads Distribution Center near Gwinnett Place mall and AiLogistics Center near Hartsfield International Airport. EllisDaws was dissolved when Tom Ellis left the firm.
In a prepared statement, Daws says Nickol's strong tenant rep base will help the new firm acquire leasing and development clients. Nickol Commercial has provided brokerage, development and consulting services to Motorola, USA Today and Westinghouse Corp.
Kritsy Williams will be development manager at Republic Property. Erika Plumer will be senior property manager. Jennifer Viehweg will be a marketing associate.
