New principals at the Coral Gables, FL-based company are Michael T. Fay, president; Donna Abood, CEO; and Thomas D. Wood, chief operating officer. The merger is effective July 1.
The companies combined their forces to gain a larger share of the commercial market, according to a prepared statement from the two firms.
Donna Abood started Abood & Associates in 1989. The firm leases/manages three million sf of properties in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
Thomas D. Wood Sr, Thomas D. Wood Jr. and Fay opened Wood-Fay Realty Group in July 1989. The brokerage has closed $700 million in sales to date.
