The Arlington store will open in August at Cooper Street Commons, a center situated at the high-traffic intersection of South Cooper Street and Arkansas Lane. The non-profit's larger store is a boutique concept, with specialty lines for plus sizes, designer labels and new goods incorporated into the retail lineup.
Scott Rose and Jeff Harrison, both of Dallas-based Weitzman Group, brokered the long-term lease. Cooper and Arkansas JV is the property owner of record.
In Fort Worth, Goodwill signed for 8,700 sf at Hulen Square, located at 6253 Granbury Rd. Rose and Harrison also steered talks for the tenant. 9SC Associates Ltd. is the owner of record. Proceeds from Goodwill retail outlets subsidize training and employment programs for the economically disadvantaged.
