CSC Associates, a partnership between Cousins and Bank of America that owns the 55-story office tower at, loaned the net proceeds of the mortgage to Cousins.
The mortgage, which matures March 1, 2012, carries with it a 6.9575 % interest rate. Cousins repaid the existing mortgage note of $65 million, a prepayment premium of $2.9 million and closing costs of $1.8 million.
Cousins Properties kicked off two new projects this quarter: Emory Crawford Long Medical Office Tower in Atlanta and 55 Second St. in San Francisco.
