Eastman Construction of Livingston, NJ is doing the project for the owner, 485 Properties LLC, a subsidiary of Teachers Insurance Annuity Association. Grubb & Ellis is managing and leasing the building, which is being converted from a single-tenant facility to a class A multi-tenant office complex. "The building had the potential, we felt, to be a class A facility," according to John Beers of Grubb & Ellis.
Interior work will include a new building core and the rehab of the two lobby areas. The building will be outfitted with fiber optics and other data resources and telecom capabilities. The asset is located in Bergen County near the Garden State Parkway.
