Production Components started its move-in as soon as the ink dried on the contract, Brett Owens, associate for Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial, tells GlobeSt.com. He and Greg Trout, Henry S. Miller Commercial's president of the office/industrial division, brokered the deal for building owner, JDD Partners of Arlington. Bryan Graham of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Dallas office represented the tenant, a manufacturer and distributor of poles and tubular framing.
Owens says the locally based owners sold their business but held onto the real estate. The three-year-old building has been vacant for 3 1/2 months. The building attracted a lot of interested tenants due to its location, excellent condition and ample land. The 3.1-acre holding came with a fenced and paved storage area, key to the manufacturer's decision to sign on the dotted line, according to Owens.
