Clearview Legacy LP is the buyer of record, a partnership of Westcap Corp. of Delaware and Clearview Properties of Arlington, TX. Tom Salanty, senior director in the Dallas office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. represented the seller, Dallas-based Lincoln Property Co. Details about the deal were unavailable by press time.
The class A retail structure rose about two years ago on some 6.3 acres at the southeast corner of Legacy Drive and Dallas North Tollway. The property at 7420 N. Dallas Parkway in essence serves as the gateway to the Shops at Legacy, which at full build-out will contain 310,000 sf of retail and about 80,000 sf of office product. The Shops at Legacy is part of the $500-million Legacy Town Center, a high-density, mixed-use project.
Clearview Investments Ltd., the buyer's parent group, is a boutique firm with the backing of high net-worth private equity partners and several institutional funds. Its holdings include interests in Plano's Collin Creek Mall and Best Buy Plaza in the Northpark Mall area in North Dallas.
