Houston-based Victory had been looking for about six months to realign the locations of its Dallas operations. One step involved the sale of a 60,000-sf industrial building at 3031 Skyway Circle. That sold in March.
"Just to get closer to home was the main focus," Noel Hutcheson of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.'s Dallas office tells GlobeSt.com. He and senior director Rick Hughes represented Victory Packaging in its trio of deals in recent months.
Victory's new location at 5050 Investment in Dallas is part of Redbird Industrial Park, about a mile from its main hub at 3061 W. Seanor. Craig Hughes of Dallas-based Holt Cos. brokered the lease for building owner, TA Realty Associates. The spot was vacant for some time, according to Hutcheson.
The RREEF-owned building at 1726 W. Crosby Rd. in Carrollton gets a newcomer to Dallas, 1-800-Contacts, which is a contact lens distributor based in Utah. Mart Martindale of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Dallas team represented the distributor for the Victory Packaging space.
