A law firm merger of Lawson & Fields with McCue, Lee & Campbell drives a 12,295-sf lease closing. McCue& Lee became a tenant in the building in summer 2001, starting with 2,381 sf and boosting its space accommodations several times, Robert Powell of Grubb & Ellis Co. in Dallas tells GlobeSt.com. The merged firm will be relocating from a small garden-style office building along Spring Valley Road.
Powell represented the building owner, WXI/GHP Real Estate LP, an entity of Dallas-based Archon Group. John Poston of Poston Real Estate Co. brokered the mid-term lease for Lawson, Fields, McCue, Lee & Campbell. The 250,123-sf Greenhill Park, built in 1986, is 89% leased.
In Arlington, Accountable Health Plans of America Inc. signed for 8,890 sf of office space at Centerpoint III at 600 Six Flags Dr. Rick Tiller of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant. David Walters of Dallas-based Fobare Commercial handled talks for the building owner, Avex-Centerpoint Ltd.
