The growing company will relocate next month from a 350,000-sf building in Woodridge. The move will come after a nine-month search for a new location, conducted by Cushman & Wakefield director Sally Macoicz.
Northern Builders constructed the speculative building at 437,000 sf but is in the process of expanding the building to 650,000 sf to meet the needs of the new tenant. Greg Pacelli and Jack Rosenberg of Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler represented Schiller Park, IL-based Northern Builders.
Lease terms were not released, but start at $3.75 per sf in the submarket. That would put Central American Group's leases at $5 million a year.
