The sale was arranged by Jason Goldman of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ, East Rutherford. Frank Brown of Cushman & Wakefield of Connecticut, based in Stamford, represents Invensys in its real estate activities in the Americas and brought Goldman and his team into the transaction for 495 Boulevard.
"We will gut the rebuild the interior to create first-class warehouse space," according to Alex Opper, whose 40-year-old, privately-held company specializes in industrial acquisitions. "Outside, the retrofit will include a new façade, roof and lighting, and a redesigned parking lot," he continues. "Our goal is to capitalize on the property's location near the Garden State Parkway, I-80 and Route 46.
